My first London pub stop was to The Marksman Pub.  Along with beers we grabbed calamari, fish and chips with English peas, and grilled salmon.  Dessert included sticky toffee pudding and a mixed fruit crisp with ice cream. Not a bad introduction to the country and a bit obligatory.

Route 6 offers a Happy Hour menu that is a decent deal for those wishing to rein in spending while enjoying oysters, seafood, cocktails and bites.  Happy hour runs from 4:30 to 6:30 with a select menu. Cocktails are 6 dollars instead of the standard 9-12 dollar range.

Raw Oysters are chef's selection and are $1 a piece with a minimum order of 3.  The Crab Deviled Eggs were a highlight.  We also ordered fried oyster sliders and calamari.  All the cocktails were enjoyable.
