I'm not big on Macarons but if you're going to try them, you might as well get them from the source. Invented by pastry chefs at Ladurée in Paris, they fly them into the shops around the world. These were purchased from the store in Manhattan and given as a gift. The store is definitely worth checking out if you're ever in the area.
