Top Chef Spike Mendelson has expanded his Good Stuff Eatery Empire to Philadelphia, PA in the Rittenhouse neighborhood.

The burgers are quite good and you can now specify the temperature you want the burger cooked at.  The meat is thick and there are plenty of burgers to choose from.  The milkshake selection is quite large as well and many sauces are offered for their fries.  A worthy competitor to Shake Shack as the number of quality burger places in Philadelphia grows.

A friend took me to try some Indian Chaat in the University City area of Philadelphia.

Krupa Grocery, contrary to its name, is not a grocery store.  It's actually a neighborhood restaurant in the Prospect Park Brooklyn serving three meals, coffee, and drinks.  The food was excellent and we had a grand time celebrating a friend's birthday and even managed to kick a keg or two at the restaurant.

I visited the Farm on Adderly in Brooklyn, NY (Ditmas Park) for Brunch with a few friends.  The occasional was to celebrate a birthday and the destination did not disappoint.  Brunch was very good and the ambiance and location was true to the name.

I was up in NYC for a weekend and came across Indikitch.  Walking in, the restaurant has a Chipotle like setup but for Indian cuisine.  There are options and selections when you order and then it is constructed assembly line style.

The end product was pretty tasty and I can see this perhaps being expandable into other cities.
