A friend took me to try some Indian Chaat in the University City area of Philadelphia.

Krupa Grocery, contrary to its name, is not a grocery store.  It's actually a neighborhood restaurant in the Prospect Park Brooklyn serving three meals, coffee, and drinks.  The food was excellent and we had a grand time celebrating a friend's birthday and even managed to kick a keg or two at the restaurant.

I visited the Farm on Adderly in Brooklyn, NY (Ditmas Park) for Brunch with a few friends.  The occasional was to celebrate a birthday and the destination did not disappoint.  Brunch was very good and the ambiance and location was true to the name.

I was up in NYC for a weekend and came across Indikitch.  Walking in, the restaurant has a Chipotle like setup but for Indian cuisine.  There are options and selections when you order and then it is constructed assembly line style.

The end product was pretty tasty and I can see this perhaps being expandable into other cities.

Made it up to Joe Shanghai in Flushing for lunch.  Very good value in Flushing, NY with quick service and excellent soup dumplings.  To mix it up, we ordered duck this time and it was pretty decent.  Reminded me a bit of a braised pork shoulder recipe with duck.
