Whenever there's a hankering for Korean Fried Chicken, Bonchon in Chinatown is always a place to consider.

With a friend visiting we decided to convene at Bonchon for some Korean Fried Chicken.
We ordered Yogurt Soju (Yoju) and Frozen Yogurt Soju (Froju) along with two orders of Fried Chicken (half soy half spicy).  One order was of Drumsticks and Wings and the other was of Strips.
Lastly, there was an order of a salmon avocado ball starter.

Talde is Dale Talde of Top Chef fame's restaurant in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn NY.   The genre of food is asian fusion.  Brunch had a slight dim sum feel as the waiter/bartender explained that ordering many items was how the menu was envisioned.  We ordered almost all the items on the brunch menu and I enjoyed my bloody mary.

Everything was delicious but the Korean fried chicken with waffles and coconut brown butter  and the lobster bao were my favorites if I had to pick.

Korean/Asian/Korean Fried Chicken

If you want Korean fried chicken in Philadelphia while drinking soju and/or beer ( they offer Coors Light or Blue Moon), Cafe Soho is the place to go.  It is wonderfully Korean oriented (Psy is currently on the cover of their menu) and K-Pop music videos are on in the background.  If you can get over those idiosyncrasies the chicken is quite fabulous. 

Wings come in a few flavors but two must haves are the spicy variety and the soy.  For our third order we ordered the special but the spicy and soy are my favorites.
