Southern Cross Kitchen is a new restaurant in Conshohocken focusing on southern cuisine.  I stopped in for lunch during the work week and ordered the chicken fried chicken.  It hit the spot, perhaps a bit too well as I was a bit sleepy for the rest of the afternoon.  Fair warning that it is substantial for lunch.  Definitely worth checking out this new addition to the Conshy restaurant scene.

Chicken Fried Chicken: $12 - buttermilk chicken, sausage gravy, homemade biscuit, french fries.

El Limon is officially one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the Philadelphia area.  Located in Conshy, the small restaurant is contently packed for lunch at noon.  For a work day lunch break, El Limon is now the hot spot for corporate employees in the area.

Chicken tortilla soup was the special.  My party also ordered the standard classic burritos and a taco and sopas.  Pictures should do the meal justice.

Chiangmai serves Thai cuisine.  The food was decent but slightly on the blander side of Thai cuisine.  If you're looking for heat and extreme flavor this may not be your cup of tea.  For lunch, the meal deals are economical and provide a decent variety.  We ordered the drunken noodle which wasn't as spicy as i had hoped but decently prepared otherwise and the pad thai.

El Limon is a small/quaint Mexican restaurant out in Conshohocken, PA.  The food is authentic, with large portions and very delicious.  The mole sauce is a highlight, if you're into that sort of thing.  There is limited seating in the restaurant, but that is part of the charm.  I would recommend eating in during non rush periods if possible.  El Limon is definitely a hidden jewel for Mexican cuisine in the area.
