Failed First Friday

Tried to go to First Friday but due to a later day at work and communication issues it didn't happen.

Instead Noche, Franklin Mortgage, Luigis and galavanting and night time photography occurred:

Taco Dinner Party

We don't always eat out.  Sometimes we do cook and when we do it usually turns out surprisingly well.  Taco Dinner party for Labor Day weekend follows:

Lobster, Shrimp, Calimari, and assorted seafood tacos and items were made from scratch and it was quite delicious.

Prospect Park Labor Day BBQ

A little scenic tour of Prospect Park where we also had a BBQ.

Prospect Park Tennis Courts

I had the opportunity to play a little tennis at the Prospect Park Tennis Courts.  There are 9 clay courts and 2 hardcourts.  As such we got a little time on the clay courts which was a little different and quite fun.  Its been a long long while since I've played on clay as its not that popular in the states so it was a nice experience.

Had to share this bar as the ambiance was quite fun and there are two indoor bocce courts.  Bocce seems to be quite popular in the BK.

First stop on my Brooklyn Labor Day visit was to the Dram Shop for burgers and libation.
Fun place with a decent beer selection and your standard bar menu.  The deep fried mac and cheese was a nice little treat and was pretty decent

El Rey to the Ranstead Room

El Rey and Ranstead Room

Little known fact.  If you eat at El Rey.  You can ask for a table at the Ranstead Room while you eat and ideally by the time your meal is finished you can be whisked to the Ranstead Room through El Rey's kitchen.  It sorta works in practice as long as you're not on a tight timeline.
