Google Chromecast Unboxing
My Google Chromecast finally arrived in the mail today. I have no review to post as I haven't played with it yet but here are all the pictures of the unboxing.

The Farmers' Cabinet is a delightful venue for beers, cocktails and old timey music. The cocktails are a bit more on the crazy side perhaps a bit over the top but there is always a decent selection of beers on draft and bottle along with wine and whisky/scotches.
For a different bar experience with some live music with a 1920s feel, check it out. The ambiance and environment of the bar are what distinguishes it from the crowd.

Strangelove's is a relatively new restaurant in the Washington Square neighborhood. They offer a large selection of beers with a balanced menu for vegetarians and meat lovers a-like. Food was good and the space is interesting and unique.

PA 6 opened around April of 2013 and offers a a great happy hour for those who enjoy oysters and cocktails. It also participates in Center City SIPs during the summer. A visit to PA 6 occurred on Wednesday. Many malbec oysters, which happened to be the dollar oysters on special, were consumed. Definitely worth checking out for those who enjoy such cuisine. We also ordered pig ears which were on special as well.
We didn't get a chance to sample their regular menu but it seems that PA6 is becoming known for their seafood items such as the lobster roll. Be warned for those of you on a budget, such items are not exactly super wallet friendly.

Brunch is the weekend meal that my visiting friends seem most excited to try when they pass through Philadelphia. Green Eggs Cafe is a perfect place to bring friends to. There is a large selection of breakfast/brunch/lunch items and portion sizes are generous. The red velvet pancakes are a must try but I would recommend getting the kids size portion unless you have a generous sweet tooth or are trying to acquire early onset diabetes. This visit I especially enjoyed one of the special brunch items: beef short rib eggs benedict on top of potato latkes.
