To wrap up our quiet evening, a trip to The Industry Bar in Pennsport was proposed.  Having never been, I was game.  We stopped in for beers, dessert, and coffee.  The venue is quaint, quiet, well decorated and quite fun.

The two desserts we sampled were well executed and the bottomless coffee was perfect for the evening's conclusion.

American Sardine Bar is a charming, dimly lit bar with a great beer on tap selection and some fun sandwiches and appetizers.  This was my first time at this venue and a good time was had by all.  I especially enjoyed the spaghetti sandwich and the sardine sandwich, be warned it is bite sized.

Lemon Hill has revamped it summer menu with new dishes and cocktails.

The cocktail selection is a little smaller than the last time I was there but they do offer a rotating happy hour cocktail along with wine and beer with happy hour appetizers from 5pm to 8pm on weekdays.  Definitely worth checking out.

Bufad (Spring Garden Philadelphia, PA)

Bufad
1240 Spring Garden
Philadelphia, PA

I returned to Bufad for dinner and it was as good as previously experienced.  The menu has changed a little due to seasonal variations and the crustinis are no longer on the menu.  We were slightly sad as those were quite phenomenal last time but the dishes and pizzas were just as good the second time around.  My favorite pizza this time around was the anchovy, squash, and feta pizza.

Fishtown FestivALE (Fishtown Philadelphia, PA)

The Second Annual Fishtown FestivALE with Johnny Brenda's, Fette Sau & Frankford Hall
Saturday, June 8, 2013
12-8pm
Frankford Avenue between Girard and Shackamaxon

I made it up to Fishtown for the tail end of the FestivAle in Fishtown.  It was a fun summer festival with plenty of seating, space, libations, and food.  The weather cooperated and it coincided with the Radio 104.5 concert at the Piazza.  Overall a fun time.

Barclay Prime (Rittenhouse Philadelphia, PA)

Barclay Prime Happy Hour is one of the better kept secrets in the Rittenhouse area.  The cocktail and appetizer specials are high quality and a pretty good value.
